Ok people... I'm finally giving in.. My computer has been acting up for some time so I'm going to send it in to get fixed.. So if u don't see me around for some reason.. This is why. Love you all will be back as soon as I can.. Muah!

My little Bull

Well I guess I've just reached the "every Mothers fears" ...what every mother wises they never have to see or hear. For it has befallen me..

I was out for a night off with a friend and get a call on my friends phone from my brother John about half an hour from leaving, saying " Anj, don't panic or anything but Kaden had a bad accident he broke a mirror and glass is everywhere but we don't know how bad he hit him self he's just bleeding alot." Me- " how bad is bad" Him- I'm not sure but there is blood everywhere and mom your other son and your two other sisters are crying..Me-" Well then it must be bad, do I need to come home?" Him- " No I don't want u freaking out to so you stay there and I'll call you when I know how bad it is.." Me" ok! Well let me know right away, maybe I'd better just come home anyway" Him- " No, just wait and I'll call you back."... 5 min's later I get a call back.. Him- "OK! Dad is going to the hospital but its not to bad. Me-" OK! I'm coming home tell Dad I'll be right there." Him- " He's already gone." Me- " What? How bad is it? Is he going to need stitches?" Him- " It seems so." Me- " Ok tell Dad I'm on my way home.. No I'll just go straight there and meet him there. Him- "OK! " So we get driving along and then I get a call from Dad... OK were at the Hospital. Kaden is going to need stitches and I'm going to need u here as soon as possible. Me- Ya dad were already on our way. Dad- " You need to bring you insurance papers and ID so I guess your going to have to go home but try to press in here cause they need u here." Me-"Ok dad! I'm coming." get home to a little ruckus ,have to comfort some worried family and tell them he will be ok.. and let them know its ok that he could have had the accident at any time with anyone of us. and that its not bad. Dash back to the car and head to the hospital..
Me (walking into the emergency waiting room) I see a child with a big white rap around his head. I think to myself... " I thought it wasn't that bad? that's not my child? he looks fatter? (walking closer to them) that is Kaden.. Oh my Lord he's covered in blood.. (All smiles)Ummm Dad How bad is it really? Dad and his usual calm self says.. Oh not that bad but he will need a few stitches.. then to my shock, Kaden pulls the wrap and gauze from his head and out pops this big bulge of flesh.. My reaction... 'OH MY GOD!!! IT'S BAD!!! IT'S REALLY BAD?" (In all this I have to say I was totally calm PTL, and thanks to a little glass of Margarita. :P) But just seeing it the way it was was enough for anyone to gasp out in shock/ horror.
They basicallythen zipped us through the waiting room to the the exam rooms and he was looked at right away.. Have to say it was pretty funny watching all the different folks come walking by from firemen , paramedics , doctors and those working at the hospital it self,with the look of shock, OOO's and Ahhhh... Ouches. that must have hurt.. what happened? and all that. I think I was able to put together a whole list full of " Get better soon,sympathy and the works cards" for him. I mean you would think those working and seeing that kind of stuff everyday would not be affected but everyone of them had something to say.. All where really sweet and said something nice to the form of "he's such a trooper... You mom! must be feeling it real bad... Sorry you have to experience it... and such" so it was really nice.

Then came the part for the stitches, Doctor comes in and I ask so what's going to happen here he's getting stitches, are you going to put him under? Nurse says.. Well he's two young so will just be nubbing the area of the wound and where going to have to strap him in this from neck to feet. ( Holding up to me a sheet) then he says you can either be here and he'll cry or to make it easier you can leave, though he will still cry cause of the pain... Right then and there I knew I had to wait out of the hall quarters for him to do the job. Cause knowing how I am when I'm hurt and my parents around only made me want to cry the more and fight the harder.. Plus I was getting close to the verge of crying knowing of the pain he might go through and didn't want to show my weakness to all those around.. So I voted to step out side.. I was able to watch the whole thing with out letting him see me either. And only when he got to crying more then I could handle did I move away a bit further. Praise the Lord.

He got 20 stitches in all in the shape of a Football but he was a real trooper. Once it was done. I gave him a shiner prize snack and changed his blood filled clothes. And he was good as new again.. Oh! and we learned with Kaden from one time past in a hospital that if you blow up a glove and make a balloon out of it he really likes it to play with... and loves to draw on it. So that helped to bid the time waiting.

So all was done.. Were leaving, thanking the nurse and Doctor for doing such a good job.. And Kaden pulls out his little charms and starts waving merrily and blowing kisses.. To the point that all who had been involved with him where all ... "Ahhhh! He blew me a kiss.. Oh so cute.. It got to the point to that the female nurse that helped us with the paper work and tested kaden's vitals and then the male nurse that had to hold kaden during the stitches where fighting over who got the wave.. it played out like so... "male nurse.. oh he waved at me... female nurse.. well he waved at me too... male nurse.. well I had to do the dirty work... female nurse.. well isn't the the best patient I've ever had and most grateful , he just blew me a kiss as well. male nurse.. well he still waved by e to me.. male nurse.. Oh look.. see your not the only special one he just blew me a kiss to.. :D I guess the lord was just using Kaden though he had just had a bad accident to show a little of the lords love to those around him.. And it sure worked cause all the way till passing the hospital he was still blowing kisses and waving. And all the nurses he passed up where not missed with out having had at least one of the two if not both. So my little Bull walked out of there with his head held high smile on his face though his head was bloody.. :) He was unbowed. The END

The Charmer...

...At such an early age. I'm already going to have to be watching out for the ladies around my boy. Jeanie come to visit us the other day and was talking with Kaden saying hello and such and winked at him. It was a real quick thing but we both caught it that after she winked at him he winked back at her. Now its a ritual that if any "LADY" winks at him he will wink back.
I had to dash and get my cam so you can all see it and enjoy it as we did. So here it is.

Family Day

I was able to take the boys out for some Mommy time which is rear as most times I am fund raising this day. But thankfully it worked out this time so we got dressed with the intent to take some portraits and went out. Sadly we were not able to have our pictures taken. So we went to the water fall/tower and the two boys had some romp around and bonding time. It was so cute watching them play together and I got a few shots of this joyous moment before my batteries decided to die out.

This one is the same boy only he's older.. And his voice got stronger.. We used to sing this song going Restrant singing in Italy way back when so listening to it brought back alot of memories for me. And I do so love the song.
He goes really high at this one part.. Though I don't like the music video it self if you just close your eyes and listen to it. It brings the feeling and passion to it.

Still here... Miss me?

Well as it turned out.. I didn't make to taking that trip to Mexico at this time. To many situations, technicalities, rides, etc. So it didn't pan out.. It was like a roller coaster, one minute it was all go the next we're being held up.. In the end the kids and I got sick with a tummy bug.. and though thankfully the kids didn't have it as bad as me... We still got sick, which brought concerns to the home we were to visit and with that it all got called off.. Can't really blame them with the Christmas push being here and all.. So anyway.. PTL! All things work together for good.

So the rest of the home kids got the 24 hr bug.. And were all basically through the fires now.. TTL! Being as were not that big a home it went to all of us much faster then it would have if we were a lot bigger home.. So that's looking on the positive side of it. :D Only ones left standing are the folks.. Not sure if it's something that will go to them. Keep us in your prayers and that we get better real soon. TKS!

Thanksgiving..

Our whole ( or what's left of it) family took a trip to Austin to see some very dear old friends Gideon and Victory and family. Which basically turned into an old "family"/friends get together of all of us that used to live in Austin close to 5 years ago now. Only ones really missing where some of our sisters. Kerri and Livi... and their sisters Mel and Heidi and then Tony and Jade and we would have had everyone together again. Oh I forgot to mention Mary Rose and a girl that was with her Ann and David Bubi where there as well also adding to the addition of those that used to live with us before. And Richard who was our next door neighbor.

Oh how the years go by....

None the less it was a great a glorious gathering and we had heaps of fun for the two nights and days that we were there. Chris Yang came over as well to join in the festivities. And we all had a great time. All the females did the cooking while the males watch Football and the kids played games and ran around.. There was horse shoes played during the day, chess and scrabble as well. Then at night after the wonderful Turkey dinner we had drinks to go around (which our bar tender Chris prepared for us) and a whole lot more fun and laughter bringing all those good memories back to life again.

As for pictures there are plenty for sure.. As myself,charity, Dad and Richard all had part in taking pictures. So as soon as I get them all together I'll be sure to post a bunch for u all.

Taking a trip. LW!

Well it looks as though there is a possibility that I'll be leaving for Mexico for a week or so. Going to go visit a home there and see how things are and visit friends there. But keep it in your prayers.. For My Friend that I am hoping to get the ride with is actually here in the States right now trying to raise the funds to get a new Van for her home. And if she is able to, which is just by faith. Then I will be able to make going with her. So all you prayer worriers please pray for a miracle of abundant supply of finances so that she is able to get this Van. Thus also making it able for me to go along with her. Thanks so much.

And if all works out which we have the faith it will, then my sons and I will not be around for about 1 to 2 weeks give or take. But have no fear I will return and have plenty to show for it.

...And because I will probably miss saying it to you all then.. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Have a good time eating lots of yummy food. Drinking lots of good wine and drinks, and enjoying the wonderful friends and family and people you are with. Muah!

He takes a tumble

So Kaden finally did I number on him self.. Of course I have to say it's not the first time it's happened. But I do believe it's the worse one yet.. And yet not that bad. TTL!
He was standing up on one of the flimsy chairs you always tell them not to get on and warn them about the dangers of falling and hurting themselves. But kids will be kids.. So it was bound to happen some day. We were just heading to see his dentist as well. So we almost canceled but I was determand to go ahead anyway. And it was totally fine.. He actually did really well with the Doc. She had asked him to open his mouth so she could brush his teeth and he opened up and she was all shocked, saying..."oh wow! He opened his mouth for me, no kids his age have ever done it willingly." Thankfully, he enjoys his teeth brushing time and because he got to sit in the cool dentist chair (which he loved) he felt so special and did wonderfully. TTL!

Annoying Headaches... seeing eye to eye

Don't we all go through this at times?
While out with my son Ethan the other day we caught just this one part of the episode but after watching this my son laughs turns and says to me. "Mom that's the funniest thing ever,his mom was ignoring the little boy that whole time he was calling her, then when she finally answers him, all he wanted to say was hi... that's kinda what I do to you some times huh?" ...all we could do was laugh cause he was actually seeing it coming from another point of view and really got the picture of how annoying his nagging must be to me at times. But it also did help me see it on the other view point, where all he wanted was to say hi but cause his mom ignored him so long he kept at it till he got her attention.

Lesson learned? Don't wait till your at your limit with your child's nagging before giving them your full attention.
