Time away

I went to Austin over this last week end.. And can only say I had a really good time there. Was what I needed really.. But also was able to see some good friends and spend time with them before we head off. But it was really relaxing, I only wish I could do it more often cause I hate being stressed out.But lately it's all I've been. And being in Austin in comparison to Houston is by far way more relaxing as well. You can just see it and feel it the moment you cross in. And there's just so much more you can do there then here.

I got some really nice pics of some of the things I did there though. More like the animals in a Hunting store that gave their lives for the stuffing, so that we may enjoy the beauty of them up close and personally. But I'll post them in my up coming blog as I've still not had time to down load them yet.

And just so I don't forget.. To all you lovers out there. Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines. Make it extra special so they'll be a little leftover for me as well. That way I can bottle it up and save it for a rainy day.. You all have fun now you hear!!! Love for everyone from me. Especially to all those that are a big part of my life, have a part in my life. And are just so wonderful to me. Love you !!

Our Cat!

Ok! So I thought I'd post some pictures as well..
Some of our lovely Cat Milo, in graditude for his faithfulness through out all these years..

By the way, anyone in the Houston or surrounding area that would like a very well trained cat, who catches your pest's, takes him self out side when he needs to use the bathroom, and is a all around nice pet. Do let me know, as with us leaving will have to give him away but would like to find a real nice home for him.

Filling you in...

Well! Life is still moving. The weather has gotten a lot nicer.. Warmer that is, which I love oh so dearly.. Though there is this awful flu going around, which has now plagued my older son. Kaden is still a bit down and out, but he'll pull through soon enough I'm sure. Please keep praying for their health.
And since that last night we have had no more visits from Mr. Rat. I think our sweet cat really did scar the Jesus out of it.( Though I did take the caution of setting a trap.)

Great Adventures of the Night!

Well since Sat, lots has gone on..
Kaden, poor thing has been sick for the last 4 days.. First he had a fever of 103.7 then on Sunday morning that broke, leaving him with a bad stomach ache in its wake.. Poor dear has been so moody and cranky its taken everything to have patients and love, and endurance. But thankfully will pull through it. Today he was still sick in the morning, but by Noon he was doing a whole lot better. Last night was one heck of a night to, went to bed around 5 from juggling with kaden waking every other hour.. But then to top it off we had some unwanted visitors in our room.. I was about to fall asleep and looked down on the floor and there walking from out under my bed was a rat. Don't ask for pics cause I'll never have that. Yuck! So I went in search of a trap and not finding it I went and got my brother up to help me with my search.. To no avail. They could not be found. (sadly they were just in hiding the whole time) So knowing I wouldn't get any sleep at all knowing that critters where wandering around, I went and got our Cat Mylo..bless his heart... I look him in the eyes and promised him a special treat if he'd get the rat for me. And let him go. Good little hunter that he was, was gone on his hunt. So thinking that I had done my part, with all I could do. I went to bed.. Seconds later.. Just under my bed, there was a Cat/Rat tango.. Cat wants Rat, rat don't want rat to catch him, so he runs. Bang, boom,bam...and on it goes.. So trying to be a good helper, I move different object out of his way so he can get around places.. thankfully they soon leave from under my bed, and take their matter to the draws.. Milo goes inside part way, makes his effort again, then comes out wanting to get into the bottom draw, so I help him and open it up.. he goes back in makes a a bunch more noise then comes out wanting to get in the second draw going up opened. and does so again wanting to go in the 3 rd draw up... I was so proud of him, aside from the noise( which woke my eldest son) he was doing a marvelous job. Then to my horror, out comes little ratty.. I yap at Milo that the Rat is out and try calling him to get out from the draws but God bless him, faithful that he was trying to be he didn't .. To make a long story shorter. In the end the Rat got to live yet one more day.. sniff.. All in all.. I got 4 hours of sleep that night. No Rat to show for, a messy room,a excited awake child from having had seen a glimps of the Rat, and a dear Cat the was still very determined to get that extra treat.

I learnt my lesson. Tonight I put the Trap out, and pray by morning we will have succeeded in the end.
Thank you all that put your prayer power behind it.

The Animals

Here's some of the animals that we had fun seeing..

This was my favorite part, I loved the tigers ...though they were having their Siesta when we got there. I was still able to get some cool shots.
